In this post I’m going to try not to complain. I will try not to complain about the stifling heat. I will try not to complain about the dust. I won’t complain about the smells that fill the streets as I walk down them made worse by the heat. I won’t complain about the trash in the streets or the cows in the streets or the stray dogs or the messes they make in the streets. I won’t complain about the fact that the “clinical strength” deodorant I brought from the US doesn’t work in this heat. After all, I’m the one who chose to come to India during the three hottest months of the year. So, if I’m not going to complain I suppose I better end this post now.
