I’ve been getting nervous about this post for a few days now. I’ve spent more time in India this year than I’ve spent in the U.S. It’s been hard saying goodbye to friends I’ve made along the way, hard saying goodbye to the kids at Asha Deep and saying a last goodbye to my SBT boys was incredibly difficult but now how do I even begin to say goodbye to India? I’ve learned a lot about people, compassion, kindness, non-profit work (which was the reason I came), and myself.

I didn’t do or see everything I planned to do but I did and saw things I never planned so it all worked out just as it was meant to. I don’t know how to say goodbye to all my friends and experiences so instead I’ll say Thank you India. I’ll be back soon.
