I took a couple of weeks off from volunteer work to travel with my parents and see more of India. We had a wonderful time and I was able to introduce them to my students, see the Taj Mahal, wonder around Jaipur and learn about the Maharajas of Rajasthan and relax in the hills and backwaters of Kerala. I’m so lucky to have parents who will travel to the other side of the world to see what I’m up to. My mom had a broken foot during the trip and my dad had a bit of a heatstroke the day we visited the Taj but they were both troopers in the heat and with all the walking.  Thanks mom and dad for such a wonderful and special visit!
